TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Scope and Acceptance of the Terms
1.1 These Terms & Conditions of Sale (“the Terms”) govern all orders placed with The Little Bakeshop S.à r.l. (“the Seller”) by any customer (“the Client”).
By placing an order on our website, the Client acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these Terms without reservation.
1.2 The Terms are accessible at all times on our website and must be consulted before placing an order.
2. Products
2.1 The products offered for sale are fresh, handcrafted pastries and other perishable goods.
2.2 We strive to describe and present each product with the highest accuracy. However, minor variations in appearance, size or decoration may occur due to artisanal production.
2.3 Product photographs are non-contractual.
3. Allergens & Food Safety
3.1 All products are prepared in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and other allergens.
3.2 Despite careful procedures, cross-contamination cannot be entirely excluded.
3.3 The Client is responsible for reviewing allergen information before ordering.
4. Orders
4.1 Orders are placed online through the website.
4.2 The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of incomplete information, product unavailability or for any other legally valid reason.
4.3 An order becomes final only after full payment has been received.
5. Prices & Payment
5.1 Prices are listed in euros (€), including applicable taxes.
5.2 Delivery fees, when applicable, are additional, borne by the Client and indicated before order confirmation.
5.3 Payments are processed securely through approved third-party providers. The Seller does not store payment information.
5.4 At the Client’s express request, an invoice will be sent by email. Requests may be sent to: invoice@tlb.lu
6. Production & Availability
6.1 All pastries are made to order or in limited daily quantities.
6.2 In case of unavailability after an order is placed, the Client will be informed promptly and offered an alternative or a refund.
7. Delivery & Pickup
7.1 Delivery is available only within the areas specified on the website.
7.2 Delivery times are indicative and may vary due to traffic, weather, or operational constraints.
7.3 Once delivered or collected, responsibility for proper storage and handling transfers to the Client.
7.4 If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or absence of the Client, the order cannot be refunded due to the perishable nature of the products.
8. Perishable Goods Policy
8.1 Our pastries are fresh and must be consumed within the recommended timeframe.
8.2 Due to food safety regulations, perishable goods cannot be returned or exchanged.
9. Refunds & Claims
9.1 Claims for damaged or incorrect products must be submitted within 4 hours of delivery, with supporting photos.
9.2 If the claim is validated, the Seller may offer a refund or replacement.
9.3 Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
9.4 No refunds are granted for taste preferences, missed deliveries or improper storage by the Client.
10. Cancellations
10.1 Cancellations are accepted only if the order has not yet entered production.
10.2 Custom orders, special cakes and large quantities are non-cancellable once confirmed.
11. Gift Cards & Special Orders
11.1 Gift cards are non-refundable and valid for the period indicated at purchase.
11.2 Special orders may require advance payment and are subject to specific conditions communicated at the time of ordering.
12. Liability
12.1 The Seller is not liable for damages resulting from improper storage, handling or consumption of the products after delivery.
12.2 The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services or force majeure events.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1 All content on the website — including text, images, branding and design — is the exclusive property of the Seller.
13.2 Any reproduction or use without permission is prohibited.
14. Personal Data
14.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.2 Data is used solely for order processing, communication and service improvement.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.
15.2 Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Luxembourg City.
